Justin Plaza
TPHS were appointed by Lodgecrest Limited to prepare the Transport Statement to support a prior approval application for the change of use of the existing office floorspace within the Justin Plaza building in Mitcham, to provide thirty residential apartments.
A key part of the technical work was to rationalise the car parking on the site so as to enhance the on-site servicing and to ensure sufficient space would be available to provide secure and covered cycle parking areas. The resultant level of reduced car parking was agreed with the highway authority following detailed parking surveys.
TPHS have recently undertaken a separate assessment in support of a further application to redevelop the adjacent Justin Plaza 2 site, with the existing office block to be demolished and replaced with a new-build block for eighteen further residential apartments, with parking again being a key issue.
