Hornsey Town Hall Development
TPHS were appointed by Far East Consortium (Dorsett Hotels) to undertake the transport and highways inputs on a significant planning project to re-develop the Town Hall and its environs at Crouch End into a mixed use scheme. This scheme will provide a landmark development which includes an arts centre and hotel in the sensitively restored Town Hall, together with an improved public square and a newly built collection of studio, one, two and three bedroom apartments in the Town Hall grounds
Fulton Road Re-Design, Wembley Park, London
As part of our ongoing work with Quintain at Wembley Park, TPHS are currently undertaking a study to assess the potential to re-design the Fulton Road junction due to the implications of increasingly extensive Stats relocation and associated costs with a S278 design that was previously agreed as part of an historic planning application. TPHS assessed the traffic volumes and numbers of turning vehicles in light of proposals to change the traffic priorities and junction further upstream from Fulton Road, which should provide significant relief to the Fulton Road junction.
Wycliffe Retirement Village, Stokenhurch
TPHS were initially commissioned to advise Salmon Harvester Properties on a detailed feasibility assessment / due diligence exercise pre-purchase of the site. The team were then retained to provide specialist highways and transport services to support a planning application for a large supported living village development of 169 units. TPHS developed a detailed trip generation model from empirical evidence to show the site would have little impact over the existing use, in addition to providing a detailed Transport Assessment and Travel Plan for the site.
Kettering North Business Park
TPHS initially provided a Transport Assessment and Travel Plan to support the development of a plot of land within the business park for the Salvation Army collections unit, which amounted to some 56,000 sqft and gained approval by Kettering Borough Council in October 2019. Subsequently we have undertaken several more TAs and assessments of various other development plots within the area.
Farringdon Road
Demolition and rebuild with additional floors of the former Guardian building in Farringdon Road. TPHS provided extensive pre and post planning application transport and highway services for the project. Initially this included a feasibility study for the client of the proposals with extensive Autotrack swept path analysis and assessment of the impact of new servicing yard arrangements.
Braintree -Cycle Infrastructure Design
L and Q Estates appointed TPHS to prepare and seek approval from Essex County Council for a comprehensive series of local cycle infrastructure improvements linking the Straits Mill development to Braintree Town Centre. TPHS initially undertook a detailed site visit and commissioned traffic, pedestrian and cycle surveys to ascertain the current route and characteristics. From analysis of the results and observations on site a series of options and constraints plans were prepared to consider the most suitable and appropriate forms of improvements and their costs on the route.
Cliveden
TPHS were appointed by LRP ltd to provide technical advice on the rationalisation of the existing site parking and servicing as part of a wider masterplanning exercise. TPHS commissioned a series of parking and servicing surveys and provided a template for deliveries and Autotrack plots showing manoeuvring of various vehicles and space required. Rationalisation of the current staff parking was also considered.
Wembley Park Access Review
TPHS were appointed to undertake a review and collation exercise of the existing and planned servicing and access arrangements across Wembley Park Estate. This included undertaking a review of work prepared by others on previous applications on the site, then updating the earlier work with additional swept paths and servicing access advice for each of the development plots. These included day to day residential servicing access, emergency vehicle access and also servicing for retail and commercial activity.
School Hill Road Condition Survey
TPHS were commissioned by Sanctuary Housing Group to prepare a detailed Road Condition Survey and CTMP to discharge planning conditions prior to commencing works on site on the residential site. The Condition Survey was completed and agreed with the highway authority as a fit for purpose survey that could be used to identify any improvements that were necessary following works completion. The CTMP was prepared and signed off prior to commencement of work on site
